Interviewing Superintendents
on AI & the Future of Education
I'm Jae Kim — a math teacher, podcast host, and ed tech founder sitting down with the leaders shaping what comes next.
Dario Amodei, the CEO of Anthropic, describes a near future where AI systems are the equivalent of a new "country of geniuses" — 50 million people, all more capable than any Nobel Prize winner, operating hundreds of times faster than any human.
In that world — where intelligence is free and speed is incomprehensible —
This podcast explores these questions with the leaders deciding the answer.
About Jae
I believe that to truly reimagine education, you need three things: pedagogy, technology, and policy. Remove any one and the stool falls over.
So I decided to be in all three.
Pedagogy. I'm a full-time virtual math teacher at the #1 ranked online public school in America. My classroom is where I test what actually works.
Technology. I'm the co-founder of Someta — an AI math agent currently piloting with Beverly Hills Unified. I couldn't find a tool that aligned with my pedagogy, so we're building one.
Policy. This podcast is where I sit down with the superintendents and education leaders who shape it — the people deciding what comes next.
Everything I do comes back to one question: What does education look like in the age of AI?

"There is no greater work than raising humans."
Those words are what led me to become a teacher. My grandfather was a teacher in Korea after the war. He saw education as the foundation of rebuilding a nation. This podcast, this work, this mission — it's to honor his legacy.
